Kenneth Clark?s LV2, located at 113 Stanton Street, is the second coming of Las Venus, just down the block at 163 Ludlow Street. LV2 is a throwback to the glory days of finely fashioned furniture from the 1960?s & 70?s. With a wide exposition of Scandinavian furniture and generous prices, Clark?s unique store offers some of the more interesting vintage accessories and effects in the Lower East Side.
Some of the more impressive wares come in the form of glass vases and silver. Antiquated photography periodicals such as ?Photo Arts,? ?Modern Man,? ?Film Fun,? ?Rogue,? ?Art Photography,? and ?Playboy? from the 1950?s tender a retrospect to the early days of published body art.
Distinctive works of iron, glass chandeliers, grandfather clocks, velvet sofas, sofa tables, armoires, dressers, lamps and mirrors line the walls of LV2. Since 1998, and open 7 days a week from 12to8pm, LV2 is the place to shop for that certain something that?s missing in your household collection.
